Fear of fallout governs actions
Never question, only comply
This existence has been force fed
Choking on lies rolling from her mouth
Smothered by an overbearing ego
A crushing weight on my chest only relieved by acceptance
Forcing me to be something that I'm not and never was
My body is your husk for this fantasy that we've chosen to reside in
My roots are in this hell and my home is with the roots
A never ending cycle
Sanctuary found in torment
Years spend in another's life,
Abandoning my own
I've seen the end
Falling from your grace
Licking my own wounds
Save me from my roots

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
